Sara Itagaki is a Project Associate at NBR.
As a Project Associate with the Trade, Economic, and Energy Affairs group, Ms. Itagaki provides administrative, logistical, business development, and research support for projects, including the Pacific Energy Summit, the Energy Security Program, and the Globalization of China’s Life Science Sector.
Ms. Itagaki is currently pursuing an MA in Asian Studies from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She previously worked with the Operations team at NBR’s Seattle headquarters. Her current research interests include the impact of new players in innovation and energy trade relations across the Asia-Pacific. She holds a BA in International Studies and Philosophy from Seattle University. Ms. Itagaki speaks fluent Japanese and conversational Mandarin.
