Project Director, Center for Health and Aging (CHA)

Nualchan Sakchalathorn is the Project Director for the Center for Health and Aging (CHA) at NBR.
As Project Director, Ms. Sakchalathorn oversees projects and initiatives, as well as financial strategy for CHA and the Pacific Health Summit. She also works closely with the Vice President for International Health and Society in cultivating and maintaining relationships with key leaders, partners, and sponsors.
In addition to being a member of the Summit and CHA team since 2007, Ms. Sakchalathorn managed the Islamic Finance in Southeast Asia project for NBR’s Economics and Trade group.
Prior to joining NBR, she spent two years in Japan with the Japan Teaching and Exchange Program as an assistant language teacher in Saitama Prefecture. Ms. Sakchalathorn was also involved in helping to promote international exchange in the local community through volunteering and participating in festivals and other cultural events.
Ms. Sakchalathorn holds a BA in Economics, with a minor in Communication and Business Administration, from the University of Washington. She grew up in Bangkok, Thailand, and is fluent in Thai and proficient in Japanese.
