Senior Director, Center for Innovation, Trade, and Strategy (CITS)

Ashley Dutta leads the initiatives for the Center for Innovation, Trade, and Strategy (CITS) at NBR. She works to generate support for the Center, launch and manage research projects and programs, and raise the Center’s profile as a thought leader. Prior to joining NBR, Ms. Dutta was Vice President at the Washington Council on International Trade (part of the Seattle Metro Chamber of Commerce), where she advocated for trade policies to increase Washington State’s international competitiveness. She has also worked with the Washington State Department of Commerce, multiple global development nonprofits in the United States and India, and the U.S. State Department. She holds a BA in International Political Communication from Vanderbilt University (summa cum laude) and an MA in South Asian Studies from the University of Washington’s Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies.
