Melissa Colonno is an Intern at NBR.

Melissa Colonno is an Intern at NBR, where she provides support to a wide range of NBR projects and initiatives.

Melissa holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Middlebury College, with a focus in Chinese history. She spent time studying in both Beijing and Harbin and has also traveled to many other parts of China. Prior to NBR, Melissa spent three years teaching Mandarin Chinese at Suffield Academy, an independent high school in Connecticut. In the fall of 2008 she will begin a M.A. in China Studies at the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies.
