Torrey Goad is a 2007–2008 Next Generation Fellow at NBR. |
As a Fellow, Mr. Goad supports NBR research projects and participates in the effective delivery of that research to the policy community. While at NBR, he has worked on projects on Islamic education in South Asia and Moderate Islam. He is currently researching the role of Pakistani Islamic groups on the Internet.
Mr. Goad is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he received a Master's in Languages and Cultures of Asia. Mr. Goad specializes in South Asian security, political and religious affairs, focusing on religious nationalism and fundamentalism in India and Pakistan. His languages of expertise include Urdu, Hindi, Farsi and Georgian.
