Jilan Liu

Jilan Liu is CHA’s Special Advisor. Her primary areas of responsibility are to facilitate collaboration with the governments and organizations in China and to provide advice and technical expertise on the development of healthcare programs across the Asian Pacific Region.

In addition to her work with NBR, Dr. Liu is the founding principal for JR & Associates, a Seattle-based consulting practice providing consulting services in clinical and financial planning, healthcare management training, physician profiling and performance analysis, quality improvement, clinical guideline development and implementation. Prior to that, she also worked for five years as manager for practice performance and improvement for Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, one of the oldest and most influential HMOs in the United States.

Ms. Liu received her medical degree from West China University of Medical Sciences in Chengdu, China in 1987 and her Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington in 1994, where she did an administrative internship with the University of Washington Physicians.

Ms. Liu has lived in the U.S. since early 1991, and in Seattle since 1992.
