Audio: Panel Discussion at the 2012 Energy Security Report Launch
On September 20, 2012, NBR and the Wilson Center hosted a discussion in Washington, D.C., featuring Under Secretary of State Robert D. Hormats and Congressman Charles W. Boustany Jr., on how Asia's rising energy demand, angst over high prices, and questions about the reliability of future oil and LNG supplies are shaping the agendas of the region’s major powers.
The 2012 Energy Security Report launch included a panel discussion of the NBR report by Edward Chow (Center for Strategic and International Studies), Erica Downs (Brookings Institution), S. Chander (Asian Development Bank), and Mikkal Herberg (The National Bureau of Asian Research).
