Adapting to a New Energy Era
A New Strategy for U.S., Japanese, and Asian Energy Security
On February 24, 2015, NBR convened a Capitol Hill event detailing the findings of the two-year project “Adapting to a New Energy Era.” The event featured remarks by Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr. (U.S. House of Representatives) and Minister Yasushi Akahoshi (Embassy of Japan in the United States of America), as well as panel discussions with senior policymakers, industry leaders, and top energy and geopolitical specialists. Participants highlighted how the Asia-Pacific can lead on strengthening global energy security and will detail recommendations for policy, industry, and research.
