Across the Indo-Pacific, countries and companies are developing a range of technologies and energy industries to enable the transition to low-carbon and more secure energy systems. In 2024, NBR’s Energy Security Program examined the most salient of these critical technologies and industries in the region: clean hydrogen, carbon removal, and nuclear energy technologies such as small modular reactors.
