Roundtable with Yun Byung-se

On April 10, 2025, the National Bureau of Asian Research convened a Chairman’s Council roundtable discussion with former Republic of Korea Minister of Foreign Affairs Yun Byung-se.

NBR President Michael Wills moderated an off-the-record conversation with Minister Yun on topics including the U.S.–South Korea relationship and outlooks for the U.S.–South Korea security alliance amid shifting political dynamics and regional conflicts. Minister Yun also discussed diplomatic and economic cooperation between the United States and South Korea and opportunities for continued trilateral cooperation between the United States, South Korea, and Japan.
