U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission Hearing on China and Global Health

On July 31, 2019, the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC) held a hearing on the role China plays in global health industries and how that impacts the United States. Health experts discussed the impact China’s pharmaceutical industry has had on the United States, specifically regarding drug safety, cost, availability, and research.
