Engaging Asia
Engaging Asia is NBR’s flagship congressional outreach program that convenes Members of Congress, their staff, and policy experts to engage in a public, high-level discussion on the role of Congress in shaping U.S. policy towards the Indo-Pacific and policy recommendations for future U.S. engagement in the region. Featured speakers for Engaging Asia 2017, a public discussion on Capitol Hill on how the 115th Congress should approach U.S. engagement in the Asia-Pacific, included Ambassador James P. Zumwalt, Congressman Rick Larsen (D-WA), Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), and Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL).
