Exploring China's Push for a New World Order
In this episode of Asia Insight, Rachel Bernstein interviews NBR senior fellow Nadège Rolland and other contributors to the NBR Special Report “An Emerging China-Centric Order: China’s Vision for a New World Order in Practice” about the types of mechanisms, institutions, norms, and rules China wants to see established in new international systems.
Nadège Rolland is Senior Fellow for Political and Security Affairs at NBR. Her research focuses mainly on China’s foreign and defense policy and the changes in regional dynamics across Eurasia resulting from the rise of China.
Adam Cathcart is a Lecturer in Chinese history at the University of Leeds. He is also editor of the European Journal of Korean Studies.
Malin Oud is Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute’s Stockholm office, Director of the China Programme, and Team Leader, Economic Globalisation and Human Rights.
Alisée Pornet is an Analyst and an Economist in the Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Asia Department within the Operations Department at the French Agency for Development.
Adam Segal is the Ira A. Lipman Chair in Emerging Technologies and National Security and Director of the Digital and Cyberspace Policy Program at the Council on Foreign Relations.
Justyna Szczudlik is Deputy Head of Research, Head of Asia-Pacific Programme, and a China analyst at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.
Andréa Worden is Lecturer and William S. Reinsch Practitioner-Instructor in the Program for East Asian Studies at the Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts & Sciences.
