Happy Hour and Screening of Pachinko

NBR hosted a “chi-maek” (Korean fried chicken and beer) happy hour and dinner, followed by a screening of the new Pachinko series. Two experts on Korean culture and history, Jisoo Kim and Darcie Draudt, led a discussion and Q&A on the novel and how it relates to Korean culture, identity, and politics today.
