Roundtable with Ambassador Paul Myler

On April 24, 2023, the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) Board of Directors and members of Chairman’s Council enjoyed a candid dinner discussion with Ambassador Paul Myler, Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Ambassador Myler offered valuable insights on critical issues, including Australian perspectives on AUKUS and perceptions of Quad developments. In addition, drawing on his prior ambassadorship to the Russian Federation, Ambassador Myler provided unique observations on the war in Ukraine, generating a lively discussion among attendees.
