U.S.-ROK 123 Nuclear Cooperation Agreement
Exploring the Road Ahead
In partnership with the University of Washington’s Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and the U.S Embassy of South Korea, NBR organized a presentation on the future of the U.S.-South Korea Nuclear Cooperation Agreement, the implications of the agreement for bilateral relations, and its impact on nonproliferation in Northeast Asia.
This timely event, held on April 4, 2017, featured a keynote address by Thomas M. Countryman, former United States Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation. An open Q&A session, moderated by John Park of Harvard University’s Belfer Center, followed the keynote presentation.
