Ashley Dutta

Ashley Dutta is a Senior Communication Manager for Microsoft. Prior to this, she was Senior Director of the Center for Innovation, Trade, and Strategy at the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) Prior to joining NBR, Ms. Dutta was Vice President at the Washington Council on International Trade (part of the Seattle Metro Chamber of Commerce), where she advocated for trade policies to increase Washington State’s international competitiveness. She has also worked with the Washington State Department of Commerce, multiple global development nonprofits in the United States and India, and the U.S. State Department. She holds a BA in International Political Communication from Vanderbilt University (summa cum laude) and an MA in South Asian Studies from the University of Washington’s Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies.
