Benton Gordon is a Project Associate with the Technology and Geoeconomic Affairs team at NBR.
Prior to joining NBR, Mr. Gordon served as a Liu Xiaobo Fellow with the Congressional-Executive Commission on China. He also worked in Taiwan for two years, first as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Taitung and then at Tunghai University in Taichung. His research interests include Taiwanese domestic politics and diplomacy, PRC digital regulation, and global internet governance and digital trade.
He holds an MA in China and Taiwan Studies from the University of Washington and a BM in Flute Performance from the Eastman School of Music. Outside of work, he enjoys taking walks in the woods and playing strategy board games.
