Jennifer Schuch-Page

Jennifer Schuch-Page is a former Nonresident Fellow at the National Bureau of Asian Research, where she focused on energy, trade, and economic development in Southeast Asia. She is a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations and a Principal at The Asia Group, where she advises Fortune 100 companies and investors on market entry and expansion, political risk, and crisis management in the Indo-Pacific region. Specializing in energy/climate, technology, trade and economic policy, Jennifer draws on nearly 15 years of experience working on U.S. strategic and economic engagement in the Indo-Pacific region from India to Japan to Australia.

Prior to joining The Asia Group, Jennifer served in several roles at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP) and at U.S. Embassy Manila, where she worked on maritime security issues, as well as U.S. economic and trade policy in Northeast Asia. Jennifer also previously worked at McLarty Associates, where she helped Fortune 500 companies understand and address complex market and regulatory issues in Asia’s emerging markets.

Jennifer holds an MA in International Economics and Southeast Asia and China Studies from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and holds a BA in International Affairs from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. She is proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.
