International Trade and Environmental Sustainability in the 21st Century

In May 2017, the Slade Gorton Policy Center held a panel discussion with former Ambassador to China, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce, and former Governor of Washington Gary Locke, and Bill Bryant, former Seattle Port Commission President, former candidate for Governor of Washington in 2016, and CEO and President of Bryant Christie Inc. The panel discussed the intersection between international trade and environmental sustainability.

This program was planned and developed by the students of the Gorton Center Global Leaders Program, a year-long leadership development program for undergraduate, graduate and law students from the Puget Sound area.

The roundtable discussion was moderated by former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton.
