Senator Gorton Is Panelist for "The History of the Legal Battle to Protect Orcas in Washington"

On January 30, 2017, the Historical Committee of the Attorney General’s Office of Washington held a panel discussion entitled “The History of the Legal Battle to Protect Orcas in Washington.” Then Attorney-General Slade Gorton led the 1976 legal battle, along with then Governor Dan Evans and former Secretary of State Ralph Munro, who at that time was an aide to the Governor. Both Gorton and Munro were panelists at the January 30 event, which was attended by an audience of nearly 100 and was filmed by TVW.
